Q&A With Chris Gates, Co-Chair of Denver Convention Committee
In a sudden announcement made today, Denver was awarded the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Denver was battling New York City for the right to host the convention and was thought to be the favorite, but an announcement hadn’t been expected until at least next week.
Colorado Confidential caught up with Chris Gates, Co-Chair of the Host Committee (along with Steve Farber, Juanita Chacon and Elbra Wedgeworth), as he was enjoying a celebratory lunch before heading to a press conference in Denver to discuss their win with the Colorado media.
