Ritter to Tour Western Slope
Sounds like Gov. Ritter will have to don his cape and tights to make this schedule around the Western Slope this weekend. All times are dependent on fair weather.From the governor’s office:
Governor Bill Ritter and First Lady Jeannie Ritter will continue their Colorado Promise tour this coming weekend with a statewide fly-around on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, January 19 – 21.
On Friday, Governor Ritter will travel to Sterling, Burlington, and Trinidad. On Saturday, he will be in La Junta, Alamosa, Durango, Rifle, and Grand Junction. On Sunday, the Governor and First Lady will end the trip with events in Edwards and Steamboat.
All of the events will include a discussion of local concerns, including the effects of the recent blizzards and Gov. Ritter’s request for disaster assistance.
