When Amendment 66 went down by 30 points, we were told not to worry, because throwing money at education doesn’t work. Well, in Oklahoma — the reddest of red states – they’ve thrown a lot of money at kindergarten and preschool and home visits before preschool and – guess what — it seems to be working. So writes Nicholas Kristof at the New York Times.
