Thanks, Pete Seeger

Pete Seeger was not just an American icon-folk singer-activist, he was also a musicologist. And more than any words we could say about him or about his 94 years on earth or about how his “We Shall Overcome” helped a nation truly overcome, he would appreciate a musical interlude. This is him doing peace song “Where Have All the Flowers Gone” on a controversial episode of the Smothers Brothers. He reportedly performed “Waist Deep In The Big Muddy” on the broadcast, too, but CBS deemed it too political to air.
