What to do about Putin and Ukraine? There are serious critics, and there are those who just like to use the words “feckless” and “Obama” in the same sentence. Roger Cohen writes that, although Obama has said Putin will pay a price and Kerry has spoken of a “huge price,” that “Options are now limited. This is the Age of Reluctance, a time when American power is dominant but no longer determinant.” Zbigniew Brzezinski says that NATO, and Obama, must show Putin that there is a serious price to pay.
