A Few Quick Points To Remember Re: Personhood

With Cory Gardner’s announced change of position on Personhood, we need to remember a few things about the Personhood Movement:
1) It is pushed by a vocal minority of the GOP base;
2) This vocal minority cannot change the fact that it is utterly radioactive as a matter of public opinion;
3) Because it would interfere with basic infertility treatment, would punish rape victims, and would criminalize basic things like breast feeding and jogging when trying to conceive it will not become more popular for foreseeable future; and
4) As a result, supporting candidates who endorse it only leads to more pro-choice candidates ultimately getting elected
