Back to school night: Please bring money

 

You probably knew that Colorado’s K-12 funding is shrinking. Maybe you even knew that it was nearly $2,000 per student lower than the national average.

But we bet you didn’t know the Colorado Fiscal Institute has prepared a nifty graph – in color — that shows the impact over the years of the intersection of TABOR, Gallagher and Amendment 23. It may not be a pretty picture, but it is a pretty graph.
