Rock the Vote: Still doing its thing
It began in the era of MTV — that is, as the olds say, in the era when MTV still played music videos and the guy from The Police was singing about the Cold War. Decades later, Rock the Vote is still kicking and its midterm election 2014 footprint expands this week with the release of an online video destined to go viral, as the youngs say. It features a cast of players that span eras and entertainment genres. Enjoy. Then either register to vote or, if you’re already registered and you live in Colorado, watch your mailbox for your ballot. It’s coming soon. Then vote for world peace or racial equality or to protect the environment or to secure net neutrality or to win the respect of your friends or all of the above and more.
