Udall hits up colleges for last-minute votes
If all Colorado were a college campus — instead of just a backdrop for every Colorado college campus — Mark Udall would probably be in better shape. Katie Zezima is on the Udall bus at CSU, with a story headlined: “Skip class and vote in Colorado.” College campuses are probably as good a place as any to find last-minute supporters.
Udall is hitting CSU, CU and Metro State with fellow U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet. At CSU, Zezima writes, Udall and Bennet are saying the vote is so close that voting really does matter.
“This is close; it’s really close,” said Udall, who had a sticker reading, “My voting sticker is cooler than your voting sticker,” affixed to his blue fleece jacket.
