Wiretap: Obama’s last minute Iran deal pitch to Democrats

With time running out and the vote apparently close, Barack Obama makes a pitch to congressional Democrats with a letter to Rep. Jerrold Nadler, in which Obama outlines how the United States could pressure Iran, economically and militarily, beyond the nuclear accord to deter Iranian aggression. Obama is thought to have 31 votes so far in the Senate to sustain a veto. He needs 34. Via The New York Times.
