Video: Family seeks justice for inmate who died after sheriff’s deputies restrained him

Saturday the family and community of Michael Lee Marshall gathered in front of the Denver County Jail to mourn his death Friday and to ask the city to release footage of a group of sheriff’s deputies restraining him into unconsciousness nine days before he died.

Black Lives Matter 5280’s Roshan Bliss, Marshall’s brother Rodney and niece Natalia spoke to The Colorado Independent about Michael’s life and death. See the video below.
