Fort Collins cops’ FB page is jumping with fish puns
Reporters spend a lot of time writing about the crimes of cops: excessive force, homicides and other miscarriages of justice. The Fort Collins police have engaged in another type of misconduct: puns — fish puns.
Apparently, the FCPD recovered a stuffed marlin that had been jacked from Fuzzy’s Taco shop, which sparked a school of fish puns on the department’s Facebook page.
Clearly, the Department is fishing for laughs, but the net worth of these antics is unclear. Some argue they make cops seem more approachable, human and community oriented. Others say they’re tasteless and a waste of tax dollars.
Pardon the pun, but how do you sea it? Throw us a line.
