Cory Gardner’s anti-Trump tweet storm

Cory Gardner’s anti-Trump tweet storm

Following Ted Cruz’s clean sweep of Colorado’s delegates over the weekend at Colorado’s GOP convention, Donald Trump has been on a rampage about the state’s system of selecting the 37 delegates who will go to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on July 18.

But Colorado’s newest U.S. Senator, Cory Gardner, who came into office in 2014, isn’t having it.

On Monday, the Yuma Republican fired off a series of tweets calling out The Donald about why he lost Colorado.

Gardner’s social media commentary has something for everybody. There’s ISIS. There’s Putin. There’s the United Nations and the national budget.

Anyway, behold the usually tightly scripted Colorado politician letting ’em rip.

End of story? This is Donald Trump we’re talking about.
