Part I: Inside Look at the Democratic Convention with Dan Slater
Colorado Democratic Party’s First Vice-Chair and Denver Host Committee member Dan Slater is in the thick of helping plan and organize the Democratic National Convention to be held in Denver on Aug. 25-28, 2008. Inbetween his many travels across the state, Colorado Confidential was able to captured a few spare moments with Slater for a series of questions about the event.
With the convention still over a year away, no doubt this won’t be the last time we talk with Slater about the planning stages of this Party’s party.CC: People are signing up to volunteer, but they are wondering what kind of responsibilities they will be asked to do. Can you provide some “job descriptions” of what kind volunteer work will be needed? Are people from outside the Metro Area encouraged to sign up?
