Aurora: Affairs, golf, et al
We’ve previously reported on an incident where a city attorney in Aurora was fired for disclosing on a blog that his wife, also a city attorney, was having an affair with Aurora’s fire chief, and that the same fire chief was arranging to playing golf while on duty.
Apparently the affair was O.K., but the golf went too far. Aurora Fire Chief Casey Jones is now on administrative leave as a result of an investigation of his activities according to the Denver Post. Meanwhile, Aurora policeman Charles DeShaze, who was capture on videotape brutalizing and spewing racial slurs at an innocent woman and her child, and is now facing a civil suit as a result of the incident, has been promoted to Lieutenant by the City.
