Lobbying Goes Mainstream

It’s finally happened. The mainstream media (traditionally abbreviated MSM) has acknowledged the amount of money involved in the lobbying game at the state capitol this session.

A Denver Post article titled “Special interests paying lobbyists at record pace” attempts to add up the cash flow, along with the state’s top paid lobbyists-a beat that Colorado Confidential has been covering since the General Assembly…assembled.

Here’s a brief look back at the lobbying that continues to break records. Session Nets Heavy Spending

Erin Rosa was born in Spain and raised in Colorado Springs. She is a freelance writer currently living in Denver. Rosa's work has been featured in a variety of news outlets including the Huffington Post, Democracy Now!, and the Rocky Mountain Chronicle, an alternative-weekly in Northern Colorado where she worked as a columnist covering the state legislature.
