Murder In Mississippi: How Far We’ve Come

This week marked the end of a 43-year, arduous journey for Thomas Moore, a Colorado Springs resident, Vietnam War veteran and Mississippi native, who finally saw justice for his brother and another black teenager. The two were murdered in 1964 and, after two hours of deliberation, on Thursday a jury found reputed Klansman James Ford Seale, 71, guilty on kidnapping and conspiracy charges.
