Musgrave Rakes in $240K
Perennially challenged Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave sent a clear statement to the fourth district about her seriousness to retain her seat with a preliminary second quarter fundraising report of $243,000.
According to campaign spokesman Jason Thielman, 1600 donors supported her re-election bid with an average contribution of $91. He estimates that with $400,000 cash on hand, the Fort Morgan republican commands a whopping warchest four times the size of the campaign account of her 2006 opponent, former state representative Angie Paccione.
