Colorado Communities Make Skinniest, Best Places Lists

Louisville, Colo. is a great place to live. The third best city in the country, in fact, according to Money magazine’s new rankings. Louisville got kudos for its small-town feel, numerous technology firms, recreational opportunities and location near Boulder and Denver. Parker, Colo. ranked 26th.

And shoring up Coloradans’ reputation for being active and healthy, six counties in the state made the magazine’s list of the 25 skinniest counties in the country. Residents of Durango, Garfield, Boulder, Jefferson, Larimer and Douglas counties have a low average body mass index (BMI).
