Hotting Up in CO
2006 was Colorado’s ninth warmest year since 1895, 1.9 degrees Fahrenheit above average, according to a report by the Environment Colorado Research and Policy Center.
Of the state’s ten warmest years since 1895, five have occurred since 2000. Only 2002 and 2004 are missing.The report’s executive summary says:
Global average surface temperatures have increased by more than 1.4
