Harry Potter Says: “Bring It On, Dobson”

Now that we know what Focus on the Family founder James Dobson thinks of Harry Potter, we asked Harry what he thinks of James Dobson:

Dolores Umbridge: … Who do you imagine would want to attack children like yourself?
Harry Potter: I don’t know, maybe, Lord Voldemort! …  And they’d love to have me. We’d be best pals if they didn’t keep trying to do me in. (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince)

Hermione: Harry, don’t go picking a row … don’t forget … he could make life difficult for you.
Harry Potter: Wow, I wonder what it’d be like to have a difficult life? … Yeah, we really ought to be trying to make friends with people like that. (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix)

Harry Potter: Professor, why do the dementors affect me so? More than anyone else, I mean?
Professor Lupin: Listen, dementors are among the foulest creatures to walk this earth. They feed on every good feeling, every happy memory until a person is left with nothing but his worst experiences. The dementors affect you more than others because there are true horrors in your past, horrors your classmates can scarcely imagine. (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)

And here are Harry’s final words to Rev. Dobson:

Harry Potter: I solemnly swear that I am up to no good … I hope he finds me! Because when he does, I’m gonna be ready! When he does, I’M GOING TO KILL HIM!  (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)
