Gov. Bill Ritter was in Grand Junction on Saturday and talked to a group of business people and small town government officials about changes the state is taking to streamline government services and save money.
The disfunctioning state computer systems are being targeted. Ritter has formed an advisory panel to recommend changes.
It is estimated that in the previous Gov. Owens administration, an estimated $200 to $300 million dollars were wasted on computer software that never worked.
