Dobson: It Was Just the Alcohol Talking
It took 10 days for Focus on the Family Chairman James Dobson to issue a “statement” responding to Mel Gibson’s arrest for drunken driving, during which the movie star allegedly let loose a stream of anti-Semitic slurs.
But no word from the “pro-family leader” about the “fucking Jews” profanities that also allegedly came streaming out of Gibson’s mouth during his arrest.This is the official statement, under the headline banner “Pro-family leader stands behind Passion of the Christ“:
