Denver neighborhood discussion
On Saturday, Denver’s Manual High School, at 1700 E. 28th Avenue, will host a community conversation about strengthening the city’s diverse neighborhoods. The conference, called "Empowering Denver’s Neighborhoods: Collaboratively Strengthening our Communities, Block by Block," will run from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM. In addition to presentations by local and national leaders in neighborhood building, the event will include a discussion about how the city’s residential areas will be affected by the Democratic National Convention. Contact Heather Barry in Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper’s office for more at (720) 865-9103.
