Daily Show on McCain: It was only a matter of time
When we blogged on John McCain’s campaign’s attempt to reach the youth vote by re-enacting an MTV “Cribs” episode by taking viewers on a tour of the “The Straight Talk Express,” we knew it would only be a matter of time before other outlets picked up on it.
Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart didn’t let us down.
Stewart’s commentary on McCain’s Cribs-style Straight Talk tour finishes with a classic quote only Stewart could deliver:
“McCain, you know I love you, but you’re F***ing OLD!”
It’s classic Stewart and worth a good laugh.
Although the last two minutes of Stewart’s video clip are about McCain’s "Straight Talk Express," the first two minutes showing Sen. Barack Obama with Rachel Ray as well as his recent attempts to be more “patriotic” gave us a good chuckle too.
