Bush Approval Rating in Colorado 37%

The President’s approval rating in Colorado is 37% according to a Survey USA/KUSA poll released todayThe result is similar to the weighted average of 38% for the nation as a whole, and is down one percentage point from last month, a change well within the +/-  4 percentage point margin of error in the poll of 600 Colorado adults.

Ten percent of self-identified Democrats, 31% of self identified independents, and 79% of Republicans in Colorado approve of the President’s performance (subgroup data has a greater margin of sampling error than the result for the entire sample).

The low point of the President’s approval ratings in Colorado, according to the poll, was 35% in May 2006.
