Rivera tapped as Colorado for Obama state chair
Rising local political star Ray Rivera confirmed today that he will head Sen. Barack Obama’s statewide presidential campaign in Colorado.
Following a blow-out performance in the Feb. 5 Colorado caucus, Rivera and Tyler Chafee, then-Hillary Clinton’s state presidential campaign chair, joined Colorado Confidential readers for a live Q&A to discuss campaign trail surprises, Independent and disaffected Republican voter outreach strategies and the DNC convention in Denver.
