God, Himself, to bless Vail Valley bicycles

The former Avon Town Councilwoman is asking God to grease the gears of progress by blessing the bikes of community members and presumably potential voters at St. Patrick’s Parish in Minturn and the Vail Interfaith Chapel. She said in her email she got the idea from cycling magazines.

“We invite bikers of all faiths and backgrounds to bring in their bikes for a sprinkling of holy water,” Buckley said in her email, although she did not return a call requesting more details.
