Denver safer than Aurora this week?
If you’d like to start a life of crime, this week’s convention activities may offer the aspiring criminal a perfect opportunity — in Aurora.
More than 300 of the city’s police officers are on duty in Denver helping provide security for the Democratic National Convention — where many have been spotted patrolling the 16th Street Mall.
Many metro area cities have contributed public-safety forces to help with security, but that’s approximately half of Aurora’s police force.
