VIDEO: Vonnegut to Hickenlooper: Be more than a lowly mayor, son

YouTube already is a treasure trove of the lightning-fast internet-era past. Turns out the late prince of American fiction Kurt Vonnegut sent a message to the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation in 2004 for a roast of Denver Mayor-now candidate for governor John Hickenlooper. Vonnegut revealed some key personal information about Hickenlooper and advised him to shoot higher than mere mayor, as lowly a position “as dog catcher.”
