Sardines for Obama: INVESCO light rail station overwhelmed
Crowds have packed the RTD light rail only to discover — much too late — that the trains aren’t stopping at the INVESCO Field station where the Democratic National Convention will wrap up tonight with Barack Obama accepting the party’s nomination.
The trains are dropping riders at the Auraria West station on the CU-Metro State-Denver Community College campus. Obama seekers then must walk across the length of the campus and take the pathway under the I-25 underpass to the promised land.
Good luck getting in to hear the speakers.
