Hickenlooper increases fundraising lead
Gubernatorial campaigns today filed campaign finance reports for the last two weeks. As usual, Democrat John Hickenlooper leads the pack. In the last two weeks, Hickenlooper has pulled in just over $361,000.
In the previous two-week period, Hickenlooper outraised American Constitution Party candidate Tom Tancredo by a ratio of less than 2 to 1. This period, though, Hickenlooper upped the margin to a little better than 2 to 1.
Republican Dan Maes doubled his take from the prior period, bringing in just over $28,000 in the last two weeks, compared to his haul of about $14,000 in the last period.
Tancredo raised just under $149,000 in the last two weeks.
All together, Maes has raised just over $283,000, Tancredo has raised just under $467,000 and Hickenlooper has raised just over $3.3 million. Hickenlooper has $434,000 in the bank, Tancredo has $123,000 and Maes has $35,000.
