In Your Newspaper Today….
Extra! Extra! Pick up a Colorado daily newspaper today and read the 2006 statewide ballot issues as they will appear on your ballot for the 2006 elections.
The length and number of these ballot issues printed in a tabloid-sized newspaper run over six-seven pages. Now, imagine adding the list of state and local candidates and your local ballot issues–and you’ve got a monster-sized election ballot!Which leads to a couple of suggestions in addition to keeping a copy of today’s daily newspaper:
1. Vote absentee or vote early.
2. Encourage your friends, co-workers and family to do the same.
3. If you wait to vote on Election Day, Nov. 7, bring a chair and food.
