Colbert, by choice, can’t quite bring himself to leave Ken Buck alone

One would think that with Colorado’s Senate seat safely in Democratic incumbent Michael Bennet’s hands, the funny boys on Comedy Central would leave Republican challenger Ken Buck alone, but no …

Wednesday night on The Colbert Report, in summing up the election, Colbert had this to say about Buck: “I just hope Ken Buck isn’t somewhere drowning his sorrows in booze, because according to Buck, that’s kinda gay.”

Video follows jump.

Colbert got huge applause when he announced that Bennet had won. He also played video from Buck’s now infamous Meet the Press appearance.

A snippet from the show follows, but we warn you the Buck bit is a little more than three minutes into an eight minute video.
