Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez likes to say that he and his wife have already purchased their burial plots in Colorado, which is supposed to mean that they plan to spend the rest of their lives in the state. I’ve never understood why that means they have to live in Colorado until their death, but, it’s nevertheless a fitting story, because Beauprez’s been busy digging his own political grave lately.
