Rep. Marilyn Musgrave, the embattled 4th District incumbent (a Republican, though you wouldn't know that from her first TV ad), told Colorado delegates to the RNC on Thursday that she's had a secret weapon in her election campaigns: Male opponents have had to treat her more deferentially, "like a lady."
A group of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans on Tuesday unveiled a TV ad critical of 4th District Republican Marilyn Musgrave's vote on a pay bonus for combat veterans. The 30-second spot has already been running heavily for a week on Denver channels and is part of a $1 million campaign by VoteVets.org to "[expose] the records of public officials on veterans and military issues."
