From the Capitol, a brief update now, on guns, Amendment 41 and changing the Colorado Constitution.

Late in January, state Sen. John Morse’s Senate Bill 34 passed out of committee, much to the displeasure of several Colorado gun-rights groups. The bill would require residents who want to carry concealed weapons in Colorado to have Colorado-issued permits, rather than, say, from Florida, where permits are cheaper and easier to obtain –
