On the digital stump: Scott Gessler

On the digital stump: Scott Gessler

LAST week we introduced you to each of the four candidates and campaigns in the June 24 Republican Party primary in the governor’s race: Mike KoppTom TancredoScott Gessler and Bob Beauprez. This week we’ll do the same for the speeches and debates the candidates have been giving across the state in “On the digital stump.”

Scott Gessler, also known as the ‘Honey Badger,’ is the only candidate in the GOP primary who has won a statewide election against a Democratic incumbent and he opens most of his speeches with that fact. He’s controversial, touts a record of doing rather than speaking or voting, and he says he’s in the race to win it.
