Dems quiet as returns stream back and GOP votes pile up

 
At the meeting room reserved for Democratic supporters of Attorney General candidate Don Quick, the victory speech on television Tuesday night of Republican victor Cynthia Coffman was met with absolute silence. Throughout the Westin Hotel, where Democrats congregated, a subdued mood gradually turned more and more somber as the evening has progressed with the realization that the GOP appears headed for major victories throughout the state.
