Colorado Democrats: Who’s the Go-To Person (And Who’s Not)

Following a thorough analysis of every bill introduced through the midway point of the 2007 legislative session, we have reviewed the effectiveness (as measured by legislative success) of House and Senate members. Based on reader feedback, we’re now taking a look at the party splits – who’s getting things done and who’s not.Democratic members of the House and Senate were compared and ranked from 1-10 on effectiveness scores. Since there are several tie scores, members were grouped together.

For comparison, the least effective members, according to our matrix was Rep. Kevin Lundberg (R-Berthoud) and Rep. Kent Lambert (R-Colorado Springs) with a score of -5. Sen. Dave Schultheis (R-Colorado Springs) earned a -4 score
