Today the Rocky Mountain News reports that this November election ballot could be the longest in history.
But one controversial proposal to essentially ban bilingual education by incorporating English only in the classroom won’t be on the ballot.
The Greeley-based group English for Colorado has announced it failed to garner enough signatures to make the ballot. Here is their brief statement:
English for Colorado announces that it did not obtain the required number of signatures necessary to be placed on this November’s ballot.
