The Year of the Cow

Colorado has gone cow crazy this year.

Herds of colorful cow statutes  (shown above is “Americow”) roam the Cherry Creek Mall, Cherry Creek North, downtown Denver, and Stapleton.  The front door of the Douglas County Justice Center had a cartoon cow on it this summer advertising the county fair.  TV viewers in Colorado Springs have been treated to the dog that moos.  And, now, our candidates for Governor both claim cow milking experience as a vital qualification to lead the state.  Once again, Bill Ritter has shown that he has a dog that moos in this fight, saying in last night’s debate:

He milked them with machines. I milked them by hand.
