Poor Mark Paschall

Poor Mark Paschall.

Just a few years ago he was routinely feted for being a small government strict constitutionalist. Rocky Mountain Gun Owners praised him for being a “gun rights hero,” a “gun right’s diehard,” a “stalwart” for the cause. As a Republican state representative from 1994-2002, several of Paschall’s more conservative colleagues seemed to appreciate it when he delivered a prayer asking God’s forgiveness for abortion, homosexuality and multiculturalism. Last year former state Senate President John Andrews supported Paschall’s doomed reelection as Jefferson County treasurer. A year ago he was thinking about running for Congress. While treasurer he almost got to have his office remodeled real fancy, including plans for a “wellness center.” He almost got to drive around in a Cadillac Escadalade.

Now everybody’s making fun of him. Even his old pals.

Poor Mark Paschall.
