Colorado Lags in Tags

    State legislators are making headlines by tackling important issues like education and health care, but a series of bills have been introduced to address a more low-profile, but nonetheless crucial, issue. Colorado sadly lags far behind some other states in its offering of specialized license plates, and several attentive lawmakers are trying to correct the problem. Three house bills aim to add plates commemorating Korean War veterans, the Air Force Reserve and Italian-Americans to the list of more than 100 already available.

    Now, 100 varieties of specialized plates may seem like quite a menu, but many of the plates simply designate various government, commercial and farm vehicles
