According to reports, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has recently conducted raids in over 63 locations across the nation and in 18 states. Colorado has been reportedly included in the sweep.
Officials with ICE will be holding a press conference, and said they will not give out any information until after the conference.
CBS 4 News quoted local federal officials as saying the raids took place at the ESPN Zone in downtown Denver along with the two Dave and Busters locations in the metro area; one in Westminster and the other at Colorado Blvd. and Interstate 25. It is not known how many people were taken into custody during the raids in Denver.
Update:
According to Christine Baum, a spokeswoman for ESPN Zone, Denver’s ESPN Zone was raided. Baum says all suspect employees were not ESPN Zone employees, but were RCI employees. She also confirmed that ESPN Zone will no longer be conducting business with RCI.
