A bill that would try and diminish the federal government’s power to acquire land through eminent domain for military training purposes passed through the House State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee today, on a bi-partisan vote of 7-4.

Rep. Terrance Carroll, D-Denver, joined three Colorado Springs Republicans, Reps. Liston, Cadman, and Lambert, in opposing the bill.
