Candidates Rock The Warped Tour

Supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama braved sweltering heat and unforgiving thunderstorms in an effort to reach out to potential rock show supporters.

The Warped Tour, a fest of more than 70 bands, traveled to Denver on Sunday, July 8, as part of an annual music bash taking place across the nation. This reporter attended the event, and spotted local Obama supporters with their own booth, next to hundreds of stands selling turkey legs and band clothing. Obama is currently leading in Dem state fundraising, with a quarterly report of $554,428.

This reporter also spotted numerous pamphlets for Republican candidate Ron Paul littering the ground. Evidence that Paul may be carrying the the “punk” ticket? You decide.
