‘What Would Jesus Buy?’ Takes Aim At Corporate Sin

    At first it was Mickey Mouse, the ubiquitous face of Disney marketing and a product of sweatshops in Central America and China. Then it was Starbucks, the world’s coffee conglomerate and paragon of everything that is wrong with America. Next came Wal-Mart, the United States’ largest private employer and a merciless predator of authentic neighborhoods across the globe. At least, that’s according to Rev. Billy, a fake preacher on a real mission.Each company has had its share of run-ins with New York actor Bill Talen and his cohorts–also known as Rev. Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping–who star in the new film What Would Jesus Buy?

    Erin Rosa was born in Spain and raised in Colorado Springs. She is a freelance writer currently living in Denver.
