UPDATE: Obama continues to lead Clinton in Colorado delegates

Late this afternoon, the Colorado Democratic Party released the slate of national delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Denver Aug. 25-28.

Sen. Barack Obama scored 42 delegates out of a delegation of 70 seats and took all nine of the alternate seats (not included in the total.) Clinton garnered 23 national delegates from Colorado.

Five superdelegates — Colorado Democratic Party Chair Pat Waak, Gov. Bill Ritter, CD3 Rep. John Salazar, CD2 Rep. Mark Udall and Sen. Ken Salazar — remain uncommitted.

The Colorado Democratic Party was assigned 70 national delegate seats to the Democratic National Convention. Here is the current breakdown of national delegate presidential preferences between Obama and Clinton:
