Ghosts of campaigns past

In case you can’t get enough when it comes to presidential campaigns or are simply nostalgic for the time before buttons and yard signs were all-but replaced by cable TV’s talking heads and YouTube video clips, the Aurora History Museum’s Presidential Campaigns exhibit opens today.

The exhibit features campaign gear of former presidents such as John F. Kennedy and Dwight D. Eisenhower as well as less successful candidates including Eugene McCarthy and Adlai Stevenson, according to the museum’s Web site.

And unlike the ever-escalating costs of running a presidential campaign, the exhibit is free.
